Fundraiser Highlight: NorCal Roller Girls

My name is Tempest's Fury, and I am a skater for, and board member of, The NorCal Roller Girls. The Nor Cal Roller Girls are the local women’s roller derby team. 9 of my  teammates and members of this organization, including myself, are directly affected by the Camp Fire.

The fire moved so quickly that some girls escaped with just the clothes on their back and the shoes on their feet.  Their houses, vehicles, gear, jerseys, clothing, and many personal items are all gone.

A few don't have a job to return to, as the fire has  destroyed their place of work as well.

We are very fortunate to say that all our skaters and their families are accounted for and safe.

We hope to use this fundraiser to help the players of this team who have been affected by the Camp Fire. The funds will be used in order to get them back on their feet and back on their skates.

All money raised will be deposited into the Nor Cal account and divided among the affected people. They will use that to help with deposits on houses, rebuilding homes, gear, skates, or car payments, depending on the specific persons most pressing need.

We appreciate any donations. Please share this so we can support our teammates in their great time of need.
